For the past few years I’ve been hiking more and more in the Japanese mountains. I find it good for the soul and the perfect antidote to modern life.
And (from ChatGTP):
“The collision and interaction of tectonic plates have also contributed to the uplift and formation of mountain ranges in central Japan. The Japanese Alps, running through the central part of Honshu Island, are a prominent example of mountains formed by tectonic processes.”
How can you beat walking on things that are a direct result of plate tectonics?
