The Gōdo Sanno Matsuri

The Gōdo Sanno Matsuri (神戸山王まつり) dates back to the 12th century. The main event is the procession of seven portable shrines surrounded by bails of lit taimatsu carried by men than are not allowed to stop until the procession is complete.
