Walking Nagoya 13 and 14
I’ve still been walking Nagoya, albeit not as much. My daughter now attends a playgroup twice a week after I drop her off at school, so I don’t have to linger on Tuesdays anymore.

Walking Kii Nagashima Port
Over a decade has past since the last time I wandered the fishing town of Kii Nagashima. It was just after the Tohoku earthquake in 2011 and back then my nerves were often on edge, always eyeing the ocean, ready to find escape routes up the mountain – though, nothing ever happened.

Walking Nagoya 12 – Honjin to Nagoya Station
Gazing up at the towering skyscrapers as I walked from Honjin, I realised the city (modernity) had lost its awe. It’s strange to think about it. Walking Nagoya 8 – Atsuta
I cycled from central Chikusa to Atsuta Shrine, aiming to complete a round trip, including bike parking, exploration, lunch, all within a tight three-hour timeframe. However, for longer journeys, I’ll need to rely on the subway. It’s not a problem, though, as the heat and humidity are beginning to pick up, and cycling in such…

Walking Nagoya 7 – Kawana
For walk 7, I headed towards Kawana in Shōwa Ward. I strolled through the park, wandered the surrounding neighborhood, and had lunch at Kawahara Shrine.
