Thanks! Great site! I was wondering if you have any advice on bringing (or shipping) your own bike to Japan, versus renting while there? Thanks!

  I’ve never rented a bike here as I’ve been living here since 2001. I do take one of my bikes abroad with me quite regularly though and have never had any problems with airlines etc.
