  Ashihama remains wild and isolated. You can hear the deer, see the eagles soaring above, and see telltale signs of wild boar everywhere. If Chubu Electric had had their way then it would be the site of a nuclear power plant today.

  These wouldn’t have happened a few years ago. I would have known instantly that I’d messed up the exposure, deleted them, and started again. But you can’t do that with film. All technical failures. But failures that, for me, do a pretty good job of expressing what it felt like to spend a few isolated…

  This bay was marked to become a nuclear power station. Not anymore though. 中部電力がここで原子力発電所を建てる予定でしたが中止になりました。
