This past week has been one of the most emotionally challenging weeks of my life and it’s not over yet. But it’s probably not what you’re thinking. Yes, my day-to-day work life has had to change due to the virus but this emotion is the result of a change which, when it finally happens in the very near future, will be one of the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
It’s tiring and I can’t wait for it to calm down. But it’s going to be worth it.
So it’s been good to get out recently with my Leica and find some peace and quiet. Just walking around my local neighbourhood, no thinking, no smartphone, no LCD or memory cards. Walk, shoot, repeat. Walk, shoot, repeat. Just the gentle sound of my footsteps and the shutter sound of a 30-year old Leica M6. And raindrops.

Blue was my thing on this day. And old Showa building facades.
