Eboshidake and Sampukutoge were probably my favourite places to hike to in 2019. I wish I’d known about them earlier in the year but that’s OK. Now that I do it’ll be good to head back there in 2020, hopefully for a traverse of the Minami Alps.

One thing I’ve realised this year is that I wish I’d started hiking twenty or so years ago and mixed things up instead of concentrating completely on cycling.
