Everyone that has been to Phnom Penh or elsewhere in Cambodia has photographed the monks, and most have done a far better job than me. There were times when I felt embarrassed at the sight of (mostly middle-aged Western men with huge telephoto lenses and bags full of gear) tourists stalking and chasing the monks just to get a photo. For that reason I tried to avoid being drawn to them as a subject, but occasionally I saw something that made me react. This was one of them.
There are a couple more photographs of monks here and here.
